bicycle accessories Bike Carriers Product Range Roof mounting bike carriersThe EUROBIKE is a basic but solid steel bike carrier from Fapa's budget 'Rack System' range; it's much better built than similar bike carriers of this type. It fits roof bars to 50mm wide, and downtubes to 50mm. It comes complete bicycle accessories with a standard 'Thule style' locking knob to lock the bike to the carrier, and two strong polypropylene wheel straps. 2 year guarantee. Adjustment is made at shoulder level, bicycle accessories so you don't have to stretch too high. This feature is especially useful when bikes are carried near the centre of the car roof, and / or on very high vehicles. One lift can be placed on either side of the car. You slide the saddle into its carrying loop, secure it with the safety strap, hook the handlebars into their securing cradle, and bicycle accessories then with relatively minimal effort the bike rises to the car roof. Not the cheapest option, but well worth it if you aren’t confident that you’ll be able to lift your bike to head height without it toppling over… Atera also makes a tandem version. The aluminium fork mounting bicycle accessories Thule 511 Velo Vise has a quick release nose cone, is quickly adjustable for forks from 90mm to 120mm, and can be fitted either to standard box section bars (32mm by 22mm) or to Atera or Thule T-track section bars.
