The TUSK Bull Rack Bike Cradle can be bolted directly to the customer supplied Vertical Tower. See Tower Construction Detail Sheet for further information. When attaching the Bull Rack Bike Cradle as a single rack installation, to just one face of the Vertical Tower you will require one Tower Mounting Fixing Pack (BR/TMP) per Bull Rack. If you mount 2 Bull Racks, one each side of the Vertical Tower, back to back you will still only need one fixing pack. Four Bull Rack Bike Cradles per Tower can be installed in this configuration maximizing space available, 2 at low level, 2 at high level. For this would require 4 x Bull Racks (B/Rack) plus 2 x Fixing Pack (BR/TMP). Max load per Bull Rack Bike Cradle: 50kg.

- Select the lower location height so that the Bull Rack bars support under the top tube of the bike with the wheels of the bike a minimum of 50mm above the ground. When selecting a higher location for the Bull Rack remember that the bike has to be lifted up and over the upturned horns of the Bull Rack and the bike may weigh 20 kilo plus. Refer to Tower Construction Detail Sheet for suggested hole pattern.
- Caution: Wear suitable eye protection when drilling holes.
- Mark the hole locations and drill through 8.5mm dia at each location making sure that the drill is kept square to the mounting face.
- Assemble the Bull Rack(s) with the 2 bolts supplied with a washer under the nut. Use an M8 socket or box spanner to a torque of 25Nm. Do not overtighten bolts. Check both supports are level.
- It is also recommended that for maximum security, tap into place over the head of each bolt a Hafren Armour Ring. Trim off any excess bolt thread protruding the nut with a hack-saw. The black plastic domed covers can then be superglued in place over each nut. (Glue not supplied). If in doubt on any aspect contact us by email or call 07767 484 465.
