For reference, Cycling Weekly, when they test a product, and very often it is over a period of time, they really, really test it and print their findings in the Technical Product News in the Cycling Weekly magazine. Here is a summary of what was said about the Hook’n’Hang by their Technical / Testing department.
“This one is pretty straightforward really.
Fix Tusk Hanger to a wall…Check. Hang a bike on it…Check. Does the bike stay put? Well, yes actually, especially if you also fit the Lower Guide too.
Access on and off the TUSK hanger is easy and there’s definitely no questioning its durability. It’s built to last, and it laughed in the face of the heaviest tank of a bike we could find. The coating on the hook protects your rims from damage. It’s substantially more than your average B&Q hooks, but this is the real deal if you want the job done properly.”
